  • Broken bicycle? No problem. Your employees can contact us directly. We’ll repair it within 48 hours at their home, in the office or anywhere in the city. In our stores, we always offer same day service (within opening hours).

Where is Swapfiets for Business available?
From Amsterdam to Munich. From Antwerp to Copenhagen. You can register for Swapfiets in any city where Swapfiets is active. And there are quite a few.
What is the minimum order quantity for Swapfiets Business?
Swapfiets for Business offers different models and packages, fit to your needs. We handle bike requests for businesses with larger volumes. If you are a freelancer and in need of one bike subscribed to your company name, please subscribe on our regular website: www.swapfiets.de.
What is the minimum contract duration for Swapfiets for Business?
You can cancel Employee Bicycles anytime, one month cancellation term applies. Very handy if someone suddenly leaves. Company and Hotel bicycles can be canceled anytime after initial 3 months, one month cancellation term applies.
Is Swapfiets for Business also possible as a day / week rental?
No, unfortunately that’s not possible, even if you pay for the minimum contract duration. Swapfiets is a bicycle subscription, not a bicycle rental company.
What do I do if a bicycle is broken?
Plan an appointment yourself via our app when:
- Your bike broke down
- Your bike went missing
- You're in search of a store or your invoices
- You want to cancel your membership

Reach out to us when you:
- Are moving
- Want to hand in your bike (store only)
- Would like to have another bike type
- Learn more about your payments
What happens if a bicycle is stolen?
Then we’ll provide a new bicycle and together we will report the theft. The company or employee will need to pay a ‘theft’ fee. That’s € 40 for the Original model, € 60 for the Deluxe7 model and € 220 for the Power 7, if the bike was double locked. For more information, please refer to our terms and conditions.
Why are hotel bicycles more expensive?
Because these bicycles are used by hotel guests, more service and maintenance is required.
Can I receive two keys per bicycle?
Unfortunately that is not possible. Has someone lost a key? Then we’ll bring you spare key within 48 hours.
How can I best arrange Swapfiets for Business for tax purposes?
As of January 2020 the tax regulations in Germany have changed regarding company bicycles.
A bicycle that the employer makes available to the employee for private use, including for transport between home and work, must not be taxed anymore through the employee provided that the costs of the bike are not claimed in the regular wage of the employee but by the employer as an additional service.
If the cost of the bicycle is included in the employee's salary it will be taxed at 0,25% of the market value.
Company bikes lower social expenditures for the employee and can be deducted as business expenses.
Are there any additional costs?
We reserve the right to surcharge the customer for damages caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
